Do You Have Some Experiences You Would Like to Share?

We would really enjoy hearing from our visitors on the experiences they have had with Canning, Gardening, etc.

I know that we have really had a heck of a time with a certain type of bug in our garden that seems to kill our Pumpkins,Squash and Melons... I think they call it a "Squash Bug". They lay their eggs on the bottom side of the Leaf. The adult bugs burrow into the root system of the plant and kill it. We have tried to stay away from pesticides in the garden... Does anyone have any ideas how to control these pesty bugs without harmful pesticides?
